Yogurt and raspberry cake (gateau au yaourt et aux framboises).

I'm sharing with you today an easy raspberry yogurt cake, with cupboard ingredients.
  • 1 raspberry yogurt (125 grammes)
  • 200 grammes of raspberries, fresh or, as me, frozen.
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 yogurt pot of flour (375 grammes)
  • 2 yogurt pot of white sugar (250 grammes)
  • 1/2 yogurt pot of neutral oil (65 grammes)
  • 10 grammes of baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract.
Your oven must be preheated at 180°C (350°F / Th 6)

Step 1 :
Whisk together eggs, sugar and yogurt.

Step 2 :
Add flour and baking powder, stir together, then pour oil.

Step 3 :
Finally, pour vanilla and raspberries defrosted.

In the oven for 30-40 minutes, depending on your oven. A knife standing in the middle of the cake must be dry.

Here's a good snack for children ... and for us, of course !

  1. How frightening that must have been. How brave of you to help out.

    1. I think I acted just because he was unknown for me. I mean, maybe with someone I know and love, I wouldn't be able to intervene as I did.
Just hope to never have to confirm this point of view !!

  2. Dear Axelle-What an experience. I think that it will stay with you for a long time. The media tells us that people don't help strangers and that people don't like to get involved and that people walk by tragedy and do nothing. Thank you for not minding your own business and for not ignoring the distress of another.
Delicious recipe-we are on it for breakfast tomorrow.
    Regards-Jamie

    1. Some people were totally petrified, close to him. As I said to Margo, I think I acted because I didn't really know him, strangely. I felt very calm and reactive. I did not feel fear. I just pray to not live this or worst again.
And you know, Jamie, there is something which always surprised me : human can be so bad ... and so good on the same time. Often, I have been happily surprised by human reactions in front of help needed. When I'm not raging against stupid people ... :D
Tell me if you liked this for breakfast :)

    2. This was delicious for breakfast-with coffee. The children had warm almonde milk with theirs. I'm not a big breakfast person so just a little something....And of course des oeufs pour les garcons. Something about 14 and 16 year old boys-they seem to require more food than I do! ; j

  3. Hi Axelle,
Thank the lucky stars, that both you and your boss are there to help. Poor guy! He does not even remember it. It is kinda sad.

    1. Thank you, Joyce. It took him two days before feeling really at ease with us ... He was so ashamed while it's not his fault.

  4. Dear Axelle, You helped another human being in distress and to me that makes you a STAR, so much better than any movie star or star athlete. Thank you for telling us this story that happened in your daily life. We just never know when we will be called to help one another. And, your cake is one I will certainly make for my daughter-in-law who loves raspberries. It looks yummy! love and prayers, jep

    1. Thank you, Jep, I don't consider myself as a star but I'm a little bit proud because I know, now, that I can intervene on someone I don't know, without being paralyzed. Just hope it won't never happen with someone I love...
Tell me if you and your daughter in law loved this cake, Jep, please :)

  5. Well done Axelle, he doesn't remember but you did make a difference, I know you did. He had a caring person watching over him while he was in distress. You should be proud of yourself.

Now, this cake looks WONDERFUL! I think I may make it with blueberries (what I have in the freezer). It looks so easy and yummy! Thank you.

    1. Thank you, Monstergirlee ! While I was talking to him, I was divided between "he can't hear you" and "no matter ! When he'll be there, he'll hear you"...
Yes, of course you can try it with blueberries of strawberries, I think ! Even with apple, with all fruits. But, to use the right yogurt with the right flavor makes a big difference.
Thank you for your comment :)
