Yesterday, I cleaned my freezer.
... Whooo ! Champagne ! Party time, baby !
And I found, over there, lost in the ice, a roasting pork...
Hello Porky Pig, how are you ?
I forgot you, I'm soooo sorry ! Are you cold ? Don't look at me this way, I'm really sorry, I'm going to reheat very soon ...
... Right ... Now ...
Gniar gniar gniar (witch laugh... I feel obligated to describe what I write, because you can't just hear me ...).
But, as I'm cruel, I won't going to cook you in your entire part.
No. I'm going to cut you in pieces, first !
Gniar, gniar ... okay ...
- One poor roasting pork
- One onion
- 3 - 4 cloves of garlic
- Olive oil
- 20 cl of white culinary wine
- Rosemary
- 2 bay leafs.
Step 1 :
Always the same : In olive oil, on a low fire, with salt, make brown the onion !
Step 2 :
Explode your garlic. No need to take off the peel. Add them to onion.
Step 3 :
Cut you pork in large pieces and add it to the mixture.
Let it brown a little bit. It must take some colors.
Step 4 :
When it's golden, pour the wine and the herbs. If you don't want to use wine, you can use chicken stock, for example.
Low fire and let it cook for 20 - 30 minutes, stirring every now and then.
Bon appétit !

That looks perfect for a cold winter afternoon and I'll bet it makes the house smell wonderful too!
ReplyDeleteYou're soooo right ! :)
DeleteAhhhh this makes me sooooo hungry and it's only 6 in the morning!!!
ReplyDeleteAh ah ah ah !! In france, we use to eat sugared in the morning, you know that. But, when we went to Ireland, we discovered salty breakfast and it was so great ! So I guess I could eat pork at 6 in the morning !!
DeleteHaha! You've found a treasure in your treasure chest! Isn't that cool! That is one perfect meal! Looks so delicious! It feels good to clear something from the freezer, isn't it? I feel wonderful if I've managed to use up whatever that was supposed to be used up! And no sooner enough, the space will be used up again! Urgh...!!
ReplyDeleteHave a delicious weekend, Axelle!
