Who, from the egg or the hen, came in first ?
Is it really a meteorite who killed the dinosaurs ?
What were looking for the first men who created chocolate, from cocoa nuts ?
Does the Lochness Monster really exist ?
How many world's end will we know before the Real One ?
Since we always find plane's flight recorder, after an air crash, why don't we build plane in the same material ?
How did we know that burning sand would become glass ?
Why do we think that working is living ?
How do we talk about financial crash when money is just printed paper, on the best case, and just speculations on the worst ?
Why do we think that to be happy, we must own ?
How Giada de Laurentiis can be so thin, being such a wonderful cook ?
Why, when we buy green bananas, we want to eat them now and when we buy them just ripe, we wait until they have gone bad ?
Whey, when you're doing queue at a checkout, is it ALWAYS the checkout next to yours who goes faster ?
And why, if you're changing queue, this is just the moment the cashier needs to change coin roll ?
But most of all, why, OH WHY, my little family thinks it's easier to arrange the empty toilet roll in a pretty way than throwing them away, while the garbage can is just right there ?

The Dr CaSo's jam bites !
Here's a recipe I want to share with you. I made it some months ago and I liked it. I took it from my Internet dear friend, Dr CaSo.
But I have to say there's a complicated part : Surprise !
Here what you'll need for 16-19 jam bites.
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 180 grammes of flour
- 80 grammes of white sugar
- 125 grammes of cold unsalted butter.
- Strawberry jam or whatever kind of jam you like, but most of all ... without pieces of fruits. More practical. Believe me. The next time, I'll try with Nutella.
Your oven must be preheated at 180°C (350°F / Th6)
Step 1 :
Stir egg yolk and vanilla together.
Step 2 :
Mix together flour and sugar. Then add butter cut in small pieces and knead with your finger tips, until it's become as for a crumble.
Step 3 :
Pour the egg/vanilla and knead again until it becomes a pastry.
Then, in the fridge for one hour minimum.
Step 4 :
In the meantime, arrange some little muffins mold, and two utensils supposed to help you. Yes, I said "supposed"...
A wooden spoon with a round handle and something supposed to fill your cakes. Yes, I said "supposed" once again.
Step 5 :
After one hour, get out the pastry from the fridge, put some flour on your hands and model, quickly, some small balls, of 2, 3 centimeter diameter.
Too much criminal movies ... To show you the ball's size...
Step 6 :
With your spoon, make little wells in your balls. Take care to not make a hole in them.
Step 7 :
And now, ladies and gentlement, till there, everything was easy, right ?
It's time for you to understand what MESS REALLY MEANS !
On my dear friend's blog, she just says : "I took a little plastic sandwich bag and put my jam in it".
Dear DR CaSo, it did not work with me at all.
When I did the recipe months ago, I failed at this step. My kitchen was a war place.
But those cakes are really good, so I decided to try once again, with the adapted utensil.
Wrong idea ...
The goal is to fill the cake with jam. So, truly, do as you can !
In the oven for 15-20 minutes. Let them cool
Taaadaaaa ! Bon appétit !! There are perfect with coffee, for example. Delicious.
Sprinkled with some icing sugar.
Now, the crime scene.
I'll eat you anyway !
